Bio
Mike ‘Ringo’ Rings career began in New Zealand in 1973, with two successful solo exhibitions in Wellington. After moving to Sydney, Ringo worked for David Jones as an illustrator and graphic designer. After travelling extensively, Ringo settled in Melbourne where he set up ‘Ringo Art’. Ringo can be found in the iconic St Kilda Esplanade Market on Sundays selling his works. His awards include People’s Choice at Beaumaris Art Show, Best in Show at Mentone Mordialloc, and Best Bayside Subject from Brighton Art Society. Mike is currently represented by Without Pier and Manyung Galleries, and is a member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists.
